Step into your power and connect with the foundation of your body in this transformative workshop with Dr. Hannah Manik, physical therapist and pelvic floor specialist.
Curious about your pelvic floor but not sure where to begin? Wondering if you’re doing a Kegel correctly—or what a Kegel even is? This introductory workshop is for everyone—regardless of gender—who wants to better understand their body and reconnect with the foundation of core strength and stability.
The pelvic floor plays a critical role in posture, breath, continence, and core function, yet it's often misunderstood or overlooked. In this welcoming and inclusive space, we’ll explore pelvic floor anatomy and function in a way that’s relevant for all bodies. You’ll learn how this important group of muscles works in tandem with your core and diaphragm, and how to recognize signs of imbalance—whether it's tension, weakness, or lack of awareness.
Led by a pelvic health expert, this workshop will also debunk common myths, clarify what effective pelvic floor engagement actually feels like, and guide you through simple, practical exercises to start building healthy muscle coordination. Whether you're managing discomfort, recovering from injury, experiencing leaks, or simply looking to improve your core strength and movement efficiency, this session is a valuable starting point.
No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a desire to feel more connected to your body. Come as you are, and leave with greater awareness, confidence, and tools you can use every day.
